Yacht Emily Morgan
Emily Morgan, named after the Yellow Rose of Texas, is a classic Bowman 57 sailing yacht. She was designed by Holman and Pye, who later designed many Oysters, and built by Southampton Boat Services in Hampshire, UK.
The spacious cockpit is perfect for sipping a cold sun downer whilst watching the sunset. It has an opening table for magical lunches and dinners under the stars. The large bimini fends off the fiercest midday sun. Sun lovers aren’t forgotten, there’s plenty of comfy cushioned deck space for soaking up the sun when we reach the anchorage, just don’t forget to lash on the factor 30!
Sail handling is managed with furling head sails, main sail with lazy jacks, a mizzen sail aft as well as a spinnaker and mizzen stay sail when speed is of the essence. Emily Morgan is easy to handle with her flexible rig.
Guests can comfortably sit down to dinner either in the generous cockpit or the light and airy saloon. The saloon is spacious with seating around the table and armchairs to relax in. For entertainment Emily Morgan has a sound system complemented by a comprehensive music library, a selection of games and a carefully chosen reading library.
Sailing yacht EMILY MORGAN can accommodate up to 8 charter guests but 6 are preferred in 4 cabins. The spacious master cabin is aft and full beam of the yacht, with a king size bed. A guest cabin aft of the salon and forward of the master cabin, has side by side twin beds and shares the facilities with the master cabin. Forward of the salon, 2 mirror image cabins on the port and starboard side, have a lower single bed and upper Pullman berth each. The 2 forward guest cabins have shared facilities with the crew.
