West Nautical have today successfully sold the iconic M/Y Firefly, a 94 foot Mulder that was delivered earlier this summer.
With the likes of Vripack engineering, Frank Laupman and John Vickers being the exterior and interior design teams behind the concept, there was much interest in the yacht and she was even nominated for the International Yacht & Aviation Awards. Firefly was recently presented to the market taking part in the Yacht Parade in Cannes and the Monaco Yacht Show.
The yacht was a personal project of the West Nautical CEO Andrey Lomakin who wanted to bring a new platform to the market, “The Mulder 94 Voyager project combines the traditional yacht forms with the latest technological content, she is a modern classic. It has a timeless exterior, and a contemporary interior with some personal touches, where luxury and elegance can be found in equal measure.” Mr. Lomakin believed that “the pedigree of the 94 Voyager project aimed to bridge a gap in the current market, offering clients many features usually restricted to larger yachts”, something that the new Owners very much feel is true.
The sale was overseen by West Nautical Sales Director Murat Urusov, dealing directly with the buyer. Mr Urusov said: “This was an amazing deal. The buyer wanted to find a high quality yacht to enjoy it with his whole family. Therefore the utility, comfort and the safety were of the highest priority. All that together with traditional Dutch craftsmanship and stunning design left no chances to other competitors. We spent several months demonstrating that every single aspect fits perfectly for the clients particular needs. I believe we have had great success with the sale of Firefly with making sure ultimately the customer happy“
West Nautical will be taking the clients’ Sunseeker 80 in part exchange as part of the sales transaction, this yacht is already being presented to the market for sale.
