West Nautical were luckily enough to be invited to attend the Wimbledon tennis tournament this week.

Managing Director Geoff Moore and his wife Sarah stayed at the Jumeirah Carlton Towers Hotel in Knightsbridge, in which West Nautical co-sponsor the hotel boutique, presenting yachts available for sale and charter to the hotels clients. They were invited as guests of the hotel to their Tennis 'Legends of yesteryear' champagne reception, hosted by former tennis champions Rod Laver and Margaret Court on Tuesday evening.

Mr Laver was unable to attend due to health issues, but Margaret, a former World no.1, was joined on stage by the 1987 Men’s Wimbledon Champion Pat Cash, and Henri Leconte, winner of the French Davis Cup in 1991, with the compare being Fred Stolle, the winner of 2 Grand Slams in the 1960s.

On Wednesday, West Nautical attended a Champagne breakfast at Wimbledon before the days tennis, with a private audiance with Pat Cash and Henri Leconte, whilst socialising and networking with other industry professionals.
