On the 16th of November 2017, West Nautical and Fairline Russia celebrated the 50th anniversary of Fairline Yachts with a UK-themed reception held at the Residence of HM Ambassador of Great Britain in Russia.

With over 100 guests in attendance, Fairline yacht owners and West Nautical clients, friends and partners enjoyed an amazing Scottish bagpipe performance, fine food and drinks, continuing the chain of Fairline Golden Moment celebration events across the world.

The evening was opened with a speech from Russel Currie, Fairline Yachts’ Managing Director, who came to Moscow for the celebration and shared how important this milestone and achievement is for Fairline as a brand, as not many yacht builders can boast 50 years.

Andrey Lomakin, Fairline Board Member and West Nautical CEO started his relationship with the brand over 15 years ago when the first Fairline was sold in Russia and the dealership contract was signed. Andrey commented: “I am happy to celebrate this significant date for Fairline Yachts in such a warm and friendly atmosphere with our clients and Fairline Yachts representatives at the territory of Great Britain in Russia. 2017 unveils the new era for the shipyard as we already have launched the new Fairline Targa 63 GTO and there are many more surprises to come. I strongly believe in the success and great future of the brand both in the Russian and world markets.”
