West Nautical are seeking CVs for strong candidates to join our Antibes based team, specifically a Broker, and a Senior Crew Recruitment specialist, and an Office Manager for our UK office in Newcastle upon Tyne.

 

Senior Crew Recruitment Specialist

Candidates must have previous and proven crew recruitment experience with great client relations and a clear understanding of the industry.

'WNCrew' is a MLC certified seafarer recruitment and placement department. Sitting in our company structure as part of our Yacht Management division, it is dedicated to sourcing the best possible crew for our managed yachts and beyond. We have a Recruitment Consultant based in the UK already, and now we are seeking a senior recruiter to be based in Antibes and run the recruitment team, leading the department with a clear plan for growth and development onto a successful future.

Candidates must be flexible in their work hours and have several years of experience in a similar role and be capable of hitting the ground running in the lead up to the busy 2017 season.

Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential in this role, with proficiency in other languages being an advantage also.

 

Broker

We are seeking someone who will work closely with, and report too, our Head of Brokerage regarding sales and charter retail leads and enquiries.

The role will play an active lead in the successful sale of our brokerage central agencies, but the primary focus shall be on ensuring a successful conversion rate of client enquiries into completed contracts.

The candidate may have a background as a brokerage or charter assistant or in a marketing role previously, but they must have excellent industry and product knowledge, and show a passion for the industry and their future in it. We are looking for candidates who are able to step up into a role of more responsibility with a clear plan of their individual growth and expansion within the company, where we want you to be a senior broker within 24 months.

Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential in this role, with proficiency in other languages being an advantage also.

 

Office Manager

We are seeking an Office Manager who can ensure the smooth running of the Newcastle upon Tyne office.

The role will be primarily supporting the Charter and Management teams in all aspects of administration, travel co-ordination, payment of company invoices and full secretarial duties.

The candidate must have previous experience in a similar role with a proven can do attitude.

 

All candidates must have the correct working visas to be able to live, work and travel freely in the EU, and be based in the South of France or Newcastle upon Tyne area in respect of the Office Manager's position, ready to commit to working from our the respective office.
