The Squadron 78 CUSTOM is now available with an integrated fixed flybridge hard top surrounding an electric retractable canvas roof. The new roof brings a permanent structure to the already commanding flybridge, with large sunbathing area and plenty of space for open-air entertaining.

The new hard top model recently concluded sea trials at Fairline’s test facility in Ipswich. The first boat has already been handed over to her new owner and the second left the test facility last week.

Kevin Gaskell, CEO Fairline Boats, comments: “We are very excited to be launching a hard top version of the Squadron 78 CUSTOM, a model that has proved to be the most successful in its category. We have always sought ways to adapt our range to the needs of our customers and work closely with them to create high-end motor yachts that are truly unique. The Squadron 78 CUSTOM is a great example of this, as our most bespoke and customised Fairline boat ever. The new roof makes this world-beating luxurious boat even more suited to comfortable entertaining in the sunshine.”

Fairline celebrated the launch of the 100th Squadron 78 model earlier this year at the London Boat Show. The original Squadron 78 was first unveiled to the world in 2003 at a prestigious event near the Tower of London. Since then, it has gone from strength to strength, becoming one of Fairline’s most successful and iconic luxury motor yachts with a very loyal following. Over 10,000 individual customisations have been undertaken across all 100 Squadron 78s.
